Performance Street Class |
PTRA has added a new class to their already full lineup. Performance Street was designed for the budget minded "All motor" racer. This class was designed using seriously restrictive rules and has proven to be an instant hit. Three races have been completed and only one more race is scheduled later this year. If you are interested in this or any other PTRA class, visit www.headsupsuperseries.com.
Update: There have been four cars running 6.80's or faster. Two of them are our camaros.
Update: Rules will be changed prior to the next race. Stay tuned to see what the new rules will be and how it affects the class.

Monthly Racer Spotlight
Kevin Dalton of Dalton Racing Engines has been chosen for our Racer Spotlight. Kevin started building and racing when he was only 15 years old. He has raced just about every class in the southeast and continues today to find time to not only build engines, rearends, and full race cars, but to also fulfill his hankering for racing. It is not uncommon to find Kevin at his shop during the day and racing at a local track at night. I can tell you from personal experience that he is one of the nicest and most helpful guys around. If you need him, he is there. He will be more than happy to come to the track and help you tune your ride. And just in case you are wondering, he can build you anything from a stock small block to a 700+ cubic inch big block. So if you need help on a project, give him a call or stop by his shop in Marion, NC.
